David McPherson
I have had a successful career for over 30 years managing billions of dollars in portfolio acquisitions in the mortgage industry. My experience has helped me navigate through some challenging times and collaborate with top industry executives to make important decisions for large companies. Like all duck dog stories, mine began in a duck blind. Soon after, I was fortunate enough to acquire a great dog and learn the hunt test process. Going into 2024, I now have three dogs, one Master dog, and two pups who have their JH Titles, working on SH. The lessons learned every day in training my own dogs are invaluable and build empathy toward our members. I have been a member of Oregon Hunting Retriever Club for 15 years. This facilitates many volunteer opportunities such as judging, stake chair at hunt tests, marshaling and being a member of the Board of Directors at Oregon Hunt Retriever Club. This experience adds to my qualifications for this nomination. Being an amateur handler and trainer, I believe in the master amateur concept of the retriever world. I have been a Charter Member of MARC since 2016. I believe both my work experience and dog experience can add value to an already accomplished MARC Board of Directors. It would be an honor to be selected to the board of Master Amateur Retriever Club. Sincerely submitted, David McPherson [email protected] 360-901-3266 |
