2025 MASTER AMATEUR INVITATIONAL

DATES: Sunday, June 22 - Sunday, June 29, 2025
      (Event Concludes at the completion of six series)

Duration: as stated in our By-laws the Invitational is scheduled to run in one week – Sunday to Sunday. Flights will be kept small enough to allow for a full six series within that time frame.  (Event concludes at the completion of six series which may be prior to Sunday)
Master Amateur Qualifiers: The qualifying period for this Invitational began Mar. 1, 2024 and will end Feb. 28, 2025.

ENTRIES: Entries will be handled by Entry Express. The event is open to amateur handled dogs that have met the qualifying requirements as stipulated by the Master Amateur Retriever Club, Inc.

This Hunting Test will be held using the AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB regulations and guidelines for hunting tests.

Running Order:
The draw will be conducted by Entry Express. The first running dog number will be determined at approximately 3:30 pm, during the handlers’ meeting Saturday, June 21, 2025, the day before the Invitational starts.

Courses and Birds: 
Mallard Ducks
(Mallard Ducks are planned for all series, all allowable bird types will be listed in the premium to help alleviate concerns with bird flu.)


Drawing:
The electronic draw will take place on TBA  and will be posted online for viewing upon final approval by the Master Amateur Retriever Club.
There will be a rotation in the Running Order.

Food:  
We are working on food trucks for each test site

Training Birds: 

Available via preorder and prepay
Note: All birds including training birds are currently scheduled for delivery to the bird pen on Monday, June 16th and would thus not be available for Monday’s training day.

NOTE: Training birds will be available for pre-order and pre-pay.  Once the event closes, all participants should watch for emails regarding training birds and many other items.​

Closing Awards Ceremony will be held jointly at the conclusion of all Flights. The time and location of this ceremony will be announced as the week of testing progresses.
